The Best of the West has been on show as producers in Western Australia celebrated their local produce at an exhibition in Perth.
The Meet the Buyer 2023 event brings together producers from far and wide and is a platform for WA food and beverage businesses to explore new products and market new opportunities.
The state government has been focusing on local business growth for several years now.
The Buy West, Eat Best labelling program is designed to inform shoppers of their purchases and ensure they support businesses closer to home.
Buy West Eat Best Manager Food Industry Development Deborah Pett says, "There's nothing like it in the rest of Australia - we take a bit of pride in that."
